Im already engaged to a geek and im a bit of a geek myself, problem solved! however, if I was a non geek and a geek was checking me out I wouldnt mind looking. I've found that geeky guys are the best! They are stellar in character and fun to be with! Vs. Mr. hot guy who all the girls LOVE! (pass!) After they absorb that news (and discover that I can carry on conversations without geeking out) then they're ready to discover that I have a bookshelf of sci-fi and fantasy novels and that I play tabletop role-playing games. It's nice if a girlfriend shares my interests ... but (at a minimum) she needs to be able to tolerate mine. I always try to break the news gently.
