I was married to an emotionally abusive man who expected me to embrace the job of an oldschool housewife and be comfortable at home doing what he wants. My priorities always came behind his, and the kids.

So I got out after realizing I'm better than this. The universe provided with a man who was walking the same path as me towards a more spiritual, healthy life. Only flaw was he was the same man as my ex-husband only in different packaging. He always knew what to say to keep me holding on to him.

I then had to get very clear on my Mr. Perfect. I compiled a checklist about 25 items long about every little attribute I want and deserve in my next mate. I would read romantic novels, watch romantic comedies, and know that he was out there for me-somewhere. I created the space for him to arrive.

After far too long of sitting, waiting, and wishing I found him. I still don't know if he's my Mr.Right or my Mr. Right Now but he is my list in living flesh.

All my days and nights spent picturing the perfect date, comprised of images from the novels and movies I absorbed, our first date was more than I could have ever conceived.

It was worth the 10 hour drive to him.

I wrote a small e-book called Loved Like a Goddess, to inspire women to dream big about what they deserve in a man and in a date.

This was my experience, my visions of a perfect date, exceeded:

I encourage everyone to compile their own list of necessary attributes in their perfect man and wait for him. Men want to give you what you want, let them know what that is. If he still doesn't perform for you, move on.

Go find your love, Goddesses!

Lets just say that Facebook makes it easy for men to cheat on their wives. My 22 year marriage ended after my husband started connected to his old high school friends. Wasn't a good experience for my family, otherwise I used it and my to older sons used it without the need to have an affair, etc. Bottom line if it is a concern for you, don't get involved with someone who uses it.
