A survey of 5,000 librarians found that one in five had had sex in the stacks. Also:
51% said they would pose nude for money.
61% have rented an x-rated movie.
91% have read “The Joy of Sex.”
63% have had sex in a car.
This survey was actually done by Wilson Library Bulletin in 1992, but only released now..
Will Manley circulated the steamy survey, but his bosses refused to print the results and fired him. He posted the results on his blog, 18 years later.
This begs the question, how sexy are librarians in 2010? Bibliophiles share your stories below!

I wanted to bring your attention to a new destination - sort of an online documentary project - called THE MAN’S GUIDE TO LOVE.
Quick description of THE MAN’S GUIDE TO LOVE - men were asked one question, “What advice would you give to other men about love?” The filmmakers behind it have talked to over 1000 men across the country so far, and the responses are touching, funny, silly, smart… It went live less just over a month ago and with Facebook and the like, It’s growing like weeds every day.

Victor doesexplain his logic, though not his bizarre attire.) “The Man’s Guide to Love” is a video tapestry recording the answers of men around the country to the question: What’s the one piece of advice you’d offer another man on the subject of love? The men cut social spectrums, though most refer only to heterosexual relationships. The plan is to add a new answer to the collection each day. What could easily be trite or silly is instead a moving collective rumination on the mysteries of human connection, and the joy or regret that often follows. (K.B.)
