Dear Breakup Girl,

Recently, after 11 years of marriage, my wife told me she wasn't happy and wanted me to move out. It took a few days for it to sink in, but I've been in my new apartment for a little over a month (I live in the Chicago area). Luckily, there are no children to initiate a custody battle.

Any advice on the best ways to meet good women, i.e., interesting individuals who like to do interesting things? I'm 34 and haven't dated since I was 20.

Yep. Try taking a class at the Old Town School of Folk Music. Worked for someone I know, both guitar- and girl-wise. Other ideas, other Chicagoans? Write me and I'll pass them along.
