I’m going to add a comment here as sort of a “dvd extra” on the making of this strip…
I actually wrote “Bad Boy” in December 2000 as a “going home for the holidays” story. We were laid off from Oxygen that very week so it never made it past the script stage. It’s a real pleasure to be posting it now as the first story in new run of BG stories!
I read your thoughts and advice to, “Feeling Rejected,” on the MSN splash page, 24 Feb. 2008. This was the lady of 46 years who felt that she’d always attracted men outside her own age group.
Your advice was sound and well-stated. What struck me hardest, though, was your sensitivity to her perspective; you were gentle and open enough that she might be able to listen to your advice. I was touched and impressed.
I realize you’re a woman, and women don’t tend to have the masculine tendency to slam people with logic… but it was kind and rare enough to compel me to write you with my appreciation.
I reckon some of my feelings on the issue are due to knowing a few women who have similar perspectives, one who is very close to me.
In the course of finding the venue to respond, I’ve come across your Breakupgirl.net site. I’ll be referring some friends to the site; you have some good perspectives to share.

Jen, that’s not wrong–because there’s a little bit of ME in all our characters.
