This concludes the run of 28 episodes created initially for Lifetime Mobile. But never fear! Breakup Girl should return in new new adventures after Labor Day, albeit with less frequency (or less material weekly) sans the corporate sponsorship. As the BG comics transition from a paid gig back to a labor of love, your comments of encouragement are welcome. 😉
I never commented before but now I must. After apprehensively opening the “final” episode my only thought was “noooooo” with that title. But you wrapped up the episode in great style — a conclusion but not a final, Final conclusion — a good feeling that’s it’s not over and she’s still out there doing her thing.
BG must not end! It’s too good!
I hope your Labor of Love will bring more episodes soon — she’s definitely worth waiting for!
I’ve been so pleased that there have been new BG Comics. I’ve been looking forward to them every week. It’s too bad there will soon be less of them, but I totally understand how a lack of sponsorship could cramp your style.
Amazing! BG always knows how to ratchet things up for a season finale. My heart was swooping and breaking and cheering with this one. Incredible artwork and one of the best “evil ray” plot twists ever! What an extraordinary new set of stories this was… and we never even had to deal with the “cute, younger” version of BG (you know, her niece or something who just started at a prestigious all-girls school nearby and takes on the identity of “Twitter, the Tween Who Knows Better Than You…” or whatever. Anyway….)
Really great stuff, guys. You make BG-World everyone’s favorite alternate universe.
I’m glad to know that BG is still handling her business (and the business of others), and that she will continue to do so, even if she won’t be doing it quite as frequently. It’s a great series that I would HATE to lose entirely. Every little bit counts, ya know?
